We explore the science, technology and art of the still and moving image, and its impact on our lives.
As the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who is getting closer and closer, Time Lord fever is getting more intense across the country – not least here at the National Media Museum!
Alongside our upcoming Fifty Years of Doctor Who Fans exhibition, we’re also celebrating our favourite Time Lord’s birthday with a special half-term family fun week (October 26 – November 3) where you can make your own Motorised Dalek, Light up the TARDIS and investigate the science behind your favourite TV adventure show!
For those who want to continue their Doctor Who celebration at home, or even grow their collection of Doctor Who memorabilia further, we’re delighted to have procured a collection of Doctor Who goodies from BBCShop.com for you to win including this rather handsome Dalek Teapot (RRP £42) plus a TARDIS mug and a Cyberman mug too.
All you have to do to enter our competition is leave a comment below telling us who your favourite Doctor Who villain is. It could be the Daemons, the Daleks or some long-forgotten enemy from an episode forty years ago!
The winning answer will be chosen at random and the winner will be alerted via email – entrants must reside in the UK, only one entrant per person and employees, and relatives of employees, of the National Media Musem and BBC are ineligible to enter. All entries must be received by November 3rd, 12pm GMT.
